What You’ll Do
As a Software Consultant focusing on SYSPRO ERP, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of SYSPRO solutions, consistently exceeding client expectations and fostering strong, lasting relationships.
• Work closely with clients to define and document business problems, translate requirements into effective SYSPRO solutions, and assist with comprehensive testing, including remote connectivity.
• Conduct engaging customer training sessions, both virtually (via Microsoft Teams) and in-person when required, to ensure client proficiency and adoption.
• Manage, support, and maintain complex test systems crucial for running test scripts, facilitating new software deployments, enhancements, and updates to production environments.
• Actively participate in project planning, identifying required resource skill sets, task dependencies, and potential risks. Be willing to share your knowledge and expertise with the team.
What We’re Looking For
• Deep SYSPRO Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the SYSPRO consulting space, OR 5+ years as a dedicated SYSPRO Administrator with a strong understanding of implementation and support processes. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Robust Technical Skills: This includes advanced proficiency in SQL database management and querying.
• A Consultative Mindset: You’ll need a highly consultative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and design effective software solutions.
•Agile & Solution-Oriented: We’re looking for a curious, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-performance, deadline-driven environment.
• Teamwork & Communication: A strong teamwork ethic, a demonstrable ability to work collaboratively, and excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across South Africa.
• Valuable Extra: Some knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack is advantageous but not strictly necessary.
